Privacy Policy
This site is operated by New Power Inc, which produces The BlackVeil Files. In this policy "we" and "us" mean New Power Inc. This policy explains what we collect when you visit agentblackveil.com, subscribe to our newsletter, buy from our store, or contact us.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter.
- Your name, email address, shipping address and order details, if you buy merchandise.
- Anything you choose to put in a message when you contact us or send a tip.
We do not take payment on this site. Merchandise orders are processed by Fourthwall, and your card details go to their payment processor, not to us. We never see or store your card number.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server and analytics data, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and time on page.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep the site working and to measure traffic.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.
Who processes data for us
We use third-party services to run the newsletter, the store, the tip line, our partnerships intake, and our analytics. Each holds and processes data under its own privacy policy.

If you interact with us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or any other platform, that platform collects data under its own terms and we have no control over it.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for.
- To send episode announcements to email subscribers who signed up for them.
- To fulfil and support merchandise orders.
- To answer messages and tips you send us.
- To understand which episodes people watch and how they find us.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information collected through this site. We do not share it with anyone except the processors listed above, and except where we are legally required to.
Our merchandise is sold through a separate store operated for us by Fourthwall at the-blackveil-files-shop.fourthwall.com. That store runs under its own privacy policy. Fourthwall's policy discloses that certain analytics and advertising cookies used on the store may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law. When you shop with us, that policy governs your visit to the store — not this one.
How long we keep it
Newsletter and announcement subscribers stay on the relevant list until they unsubscribe, and every email carries an unsubscribe link. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics data is retained on the schedule set by the platform that collects it.
Your rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we do not sell personal information collected through this site, there is nothing to opt out of at the site level, but you may still make any of these requests. Requests regarding data collected on the merchandise store should be directed through the store's own policy.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you have equivalent rights under the UK GDPR and the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection.
To make a request, write to admin@agentblackveil.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows.
Children
This site and its content are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, write to admin@agentblackveil.com and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, and we rely on the security of the established third-party services listed above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
We operate in the United States. If you access this site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do, and material changes will be announced on this page.
